Infection: Could be a middle ear infection which is sitting on the one side and pain radiating to that side. If you have fever and significant pain when swallowing you may want to see dr. Likely just viral but rule out bacterial which needs antibiotics.

Go to ER: What you described is compatible with temporal arteritis and you should visit an emergency room at the earliest to protect your vision, just in case it is temporal arteritis.

: That is the area of temporal artery and I doubt of any significance. Just observe for now and let us know when you have new symptoms. By the way, check you blood pressure if you have not had it done for quite some time.

Alopecia: This can affect men and women. If you are experiencing headaches, however, please see your physician immediately. Alopecia can be transient and temporary. Try Rogaine (minoxidil) 5% shampoo for 6 weeks.

im 17 years old and am losing hair in the temples of my head. its getting pretty far back on the right side. i work out heavily and eat very well. other than genetics i cant think of any reason id have this issue. how can i regrow or prevent loss?

Should it be the very common androgenetic alopecia, known as male pattern baldness, he will provide you with possibly an oral med along with a topical otc med to help you. However, it just might be something different, and that is why you should be evaluated.

i have been losing hair on the sides of my head kinda of like streaks one doctor said to use 10 percent minoxidil and the other said use a multi vitamin. the minoxidil seems to help on the front of my head. have not used it any where else on my head ?

Options: topical rogaine/minoxidil used daily (if u stop, hair loss recurs); hair transplants from back of scalp; hairweave; toupee/hairpiece (good ones are expensive but look more natural); shave head (very popular); do nothing.
