Normal male pattern: Hair loss pattern you're experiencing is the typical progression: left & right front sides regress more & more; may develop bald spot on crown; then they can meet. Options: topical rogaine/minoxidil used daily (if u stop, hair loss recurs); hair transplants from back of scalp; hairweave; toupee/hairpiece (good ones are expensive but look more natural); shave head (very popular); do nothing.

Medical management: There a few proven options to stop the hair loss. These include medications such as Minoxidil and finasteride. The two other options are laser light and protein rich plasma. A combination of all would be most effective. See a hair loss specialist.
