Whether or not it is a serious problem or not depends on the size and location of the exposed bone and how much discomfort it is causing. If the exposed bone is significantly large, your dentist or surgeon may have to perform a minor procedure to remove it. Your dentist or surgeon can advise you.

: It will be a painless procedure, you will be totally anesthetized. Depending on the difficulty of the extraction you may have some post operative swelling and/or pain which can be managed with appropriate medications.

Yes. : That is fine. Hole will stay till bone fills in. That will take weeks. It dry socket ( loosing clot) is an issue you would have pain.

It is not normal: Wisdom teeth. It was a surgical procedure and is not completely risk-free. Pain, swelling and infection following surgery is usually at its worst 24 – 48 hours after surgery. After that it should subside more and more every day and after 7 days stop. Your symptoms could be a serous problem.  See your dentist or an oral surgeon for post-op appointment and treatment.

Start slowly: Nutrition is important for wound healing after surgery.  Start with a soft diet and drink plenty of fluids.  You can advance your diet and types of food as tolerated.  Some people eat a regular diet immediately following surgery, while others may be more cautious and not try to resume their normal diet for several days after surgery.
