Varies: Everyone is different, depending on individual healing capacity, the difficulty of the surgery and how you care for your teeth afterward. In general, plan on about 3-5 days.

It varies: Individuals react and respond differently to surgery, as some patients have an extremely high pain threshold and wisdom tooth surgery is only a minor distraction. Other patients may have a very low pain threshold and be incapacitated for a week or more from a simple uncomplicated extraction. On the average, two to three days is the norm.
