Congratulations: Congratulations on attempting to lose weight!    the problem with diets is that they are sometimes unsustainable.  If you are eating 1300 calories per day and are not hungry this is a sign that you were maybe overeating before.  The best solution is to make long term lifestyle changes.

Losing a pound a day may be too much, a more realistic goal is 2-4 lbs per week.

Many!: Meats (all lean), cheeses, greens, spinach, beans, lentils.  Too many to name. Whey protein-great supplement. Many high protein-no or low-sugar products made by eas and atkin's.

Very possibly: ....but I would think the bigger problem might be water intake, though that surprises me. Your question suggests you are knowledgable about healthy eating and I would guess that you are pretty good about drinking water. In any event, especially with this few calories you need 8-12 glasses a day. Make sure you are getting at least 1000 ca/day; fewer is unsafe. Best wishes:)

Keep it simple: Consider fiber as the equivalent of sawdust. Since you are not a termite, you don't have the enzymes needed to turn this natural fiber into fuel, so it does not count as calories.

As long as total1500: You can split the total calories the way you want as long as all meals calories add up to your desire of consuming 1500 calories for a day, you will lose weight.

Salad, etc.: You can eat all the salad you want, just use lemon juice as a dressing or a small amount of olive oil and some vinegar (i like balsamic vinegar). Vegetables such as asparagus, brocolli, cauliflower, string beans, spaghetti squash, sweet potatoes, brussel sprouts are good, too, but be careful what you flavor them with. A little butter is fine as is lemon, salt & pepper.

Absolutely: That is the diet i personally use. Combine that diet with aerobic exercise and strength training.

Calories: All calories are not created equal; some are better than others.  Please ask you doctor about a ketogenic diet.  That's high good fat and low carb.  You will be less hungry and your body will shift from burning sugar ad carbs for energy to burning fat.  Peace and good health.

Fiber: Eat a diet rich in fiber such as leafy green vegetables, whole grains, beans, almonds.  Avoid simple sugars found in sugary soft drinks, white bread, potatoes.
