i have a lipoma on my lower stomach, i went to my gp to get it checked out and they confirmed it was a lipoma, but i am still curious as it is hard?

If the mass: is typical lipoma, you should not worry.  Lipomas usually do not feel indurated, though, so it does not seem to be your typical lipoma.  Have a surgeon look at it, especially if is enlarging in size.

i believe i have a small lipoma on the left side of my stomach. sometimes when sitting for a while, i will stand up and the left side of my stomach is numb. because its only left side i assume it has to do with the lipoma. should i be concerned?

Too many assumptions: An exam will be needed in order to better correlate symptoms with previous abnormal anatomic structures. Best would be through your doc who will have a sense of the dynamics as well.

Needs examination: An examination would be needed to determine what the cause of these bumps could be: skin laxity, hernias, rectus muscle diastasis, or other causes

None: There is no natural cures , if you have so many  , they may not be lipomas , they could be neurofibromas . See your doctor get at least  one biopsied and proceed from that report .

Sweeling : It is common to have sweeling in the area of the surgery. It may cause irritation to other organs in that area including the stomach.
Have your doctor evaluate you to make sure no other reasons are causing it such as medications for example.

Sounds likely: Could also be a small epidermoid cyst under the skin. Doesn't sound like a hernia. See your primary care provider for an exam to find out more. Hope this helps!

Surgery: I recommend removal of any lipoma that is enlarging or causing symptoms.  I'm assuming the lipoma is in the abdominal wall or skin.

Need 2 Be Seen: Lipomas are the most common cause of lumps under the skin (in the subq space), however they rarely cause shooting pain on palpation as you describe. I suggest that you make an appointment with your primary care doctor to help sort this out.

Start with your: primary care physician. A lipoma is generally a superficial, soft, mass. Your physician can determine if a specialty evaluation is required based on examination findings. Take care.
