Pelvic joints: Sound emanates from symphysis pubis and sacroiliac joint.  When ligaments that hold pelvic joints together are damaged and lose their inherent tethering strength the pelvic joints subluxes; one bone moves over the other.  Sometimes sudden sounds are generated.

Proper Healing : Is important. You need to be seen an md who may refer you to an orthopedic surgeon (if there's some tearing that needs suturing or to a physical therapist. The muscle, tendon, or ligament has to heal and oriented in the right place. Muscles heal first but tendon takes months.
