Physical Exam: 56 year old gentleman noticing asymmetry of his inguinal region. This asymmetry may indicate that you are noticing a direct inguinal hernia. Please visit your physician for a physical exam and referral. A direct inguinal hernia is a protrusion of abdominal contents through the transversals fascia. Your MD will be able to tell you if you have a hernia or other physical exam finding. Good luck.
