No: While it is reassuring that there is no evidence for hemodynamically significant blockages in your heart arteries it does not determine if u have any coronary disease present.

Lexiscan: The lexi study uses radioisotopes for imaging, the echo study uses ultrasound and no radioactive exposure.  Lexiscan agent is not a heart stimulant, Dobutamine is. The images obtained are different also.

Irrelevant: Lexiscan is an effective agent for stress tests which is independent of heart rate. It doesn't matter what your heart rate was.

: A cardiac stress test intends to increase cardiac activity by increasing blood flow through the coronary arteries while monitoring electrical activity with an EKG and symptoms that could be related to artery blockage or spasm. A stress echo adds an echocardiogram to show the dynamic movement of the heart structures (walls, valves) and blood flow undergoing stress

All the above provide indirect  information on blood flow, presence of scars and the strength of heart contractions

Baby monitoring: A non-stress test is a way of checking on the baby.  We listen to and record the fetal heart for 20-30 minutes.  We are looking at the baseline heart rate and how the heart rate goes up or down.  We are looking at this to see if the baby is getting enough oxygen or if there are other problems with how the baby is doing.

Physically demanding: A stress test is physically demanding. So take adequate rest the night before, wear comfortable clothes and comfortable walking shoes.
