Imaging: Heart Imaging tests (nuclear, ultrasound & MRI) are a non-invasive way of evaluating heart function performed in conjunction with physical activity (treadmill or bicycle) or using non physical means (using intravenous medication eg. dobutamine, lexiscan, adenosine or dipyridamole). All the above provide indirect information on blood flow, presence of scars and the strength of heart contractions
