Stress test: A stress test for screening purposes usually has no associated pain. Treadmill stress testing can lead to tired legs and shortness of breath. If the stress test has changes suggestive of a blocked artery, and the patient has chest pain or pressure, the tst is stopped and is sent for immediate catherization. Chest pain or pressure suggests heart disease.
