Depends: Did you have trauma?  Can you breathe?  Are you concerned about appearance?  These are all factors that weigh in to this.  This can be complicated and is a reason why many surgeons will only do one or the other.  If all of the above are concerns, you may be able to have the septum and breathing issues addressed by insurance, but the cosmetic portions would then have to be paid for out-of-pocket.

See below: Do not blow nose. Sniff only. Keep nose moist by squirting and sniffing nasal saline spray every couple of hours. Apply bland ointment like ayr nasal gel, vaseline, or neosporin frequently to nostrils. Use humidifier.

: Anything is possible, but a COVID-19 rapid test or PCR has never caused a perforation that has been reported.  However,  intranasal snorting of cocaine, or other recreational drugs have caused such nasal holes.

Biopsy: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without examining you. You may need a biopsy of the lesion and examination of the tissue by a pathologist.
