Hardly: Generally cancer in the armpit(axilla) would be in a lymph node and would not cause any symptoms. If you don't feel any unusual lumps in the axilla&gt; no cause for concern. Tickling is not a symptom of cancer.

Unlikely: Unlikely unless other symptoms and/or if there is a mass. It would also depend on duration of symptoms. Is there a history of weight loss? Night sweats? Fever? Chills? I would give it 1-2 weeks... If it resolves... No worries, if it persists, see your primary care doctor or your local ent.

could pancreatic cancer cause a tingling type sensation on the left side... sort of under the ribcage? what else could this be?

Pancreatic cancer: It would be unusual for pancreatic cancer to cause a tingling sensation especially under the rib cage. Pancreatic cancer pain is usually a steady, boring type pain in the mid-upper abdomen sometimes alleviated by bending forward. Tingling sensations are usually superficial perhaps involving only the skin or a nerve irritation.

tingling on and off near left shoulder blade. i googled it which one should never do! lung cancer was even listed as a cause! i'm 32. no injury. ?

Not usually: More likely muscle/ligament. Little heat/massage/ NSAID/ strechig will help. Depending on duration......smoking hx, asbestus /chemical exposure....other things can be considered. Neck spine/nerve will be responsible if you had MVA/ whip lass.

Itchy nipple: Because of your family history of breast cancer, you should see your doctor for any changes in your breast, and be seen for regular checkups.

hi. i have been having lower back ache and numbness and tingling in my left leg. i had an x-ray of my entire spine and it was normal. could this be cancer? are spinal tumors missed upon x-ray? 25 year old?

: Many things can cause the symptoms you are having. You likely need an MRI of your lumbar/sacral spine to find out what is causing your symptoms. You may need to see a neurologist for further testing as well. Do you have any history of back trauma? Go to the nearest ER for any worsening of symptoms. See your doctor for further testing and referrals to neurology and/or spine specialist. Good luck!

Could be: While other things also can give you the same problems- such muskuloskeletal related pain, inflammation etc- cancer could be and would be on the differential diagnosis to rule out. Please see your doctor and have a proper breast examination. A mammogram plus minus sonogram may need to be done- as indicated. Good luck.

Unlikely.: This is more likely to be from infection/irritation of your breast from nursing/feeding.  There are lymphatic ducts that lead to the armpit from the breast/nipple area.  If the breast does not get better with warm wet cloth massage, see your doctor.

Wait for answer: If you are seeing your doctor tomorrow, you should just wait to see what will be found instead of worrying over potentially bad results.  Some cancer can indeed hurt -depending on the site involved.

3 weeks ago i felt my left armpit sore and tender for 3 days only but now today on my first day of periods i am having the same feeling. is it cancer?

Need more info: It is hard to make a connection between your menstrual period and your armpit pain. My suggestion is to make an appointment with your family physician and see if you might have a skin infection in your armpit. This is not a common symptom of cancer especially at your age.
