hi dr  please advise me i went for appendix operation january this year but still when i touched or pressed on my operation i still feel pain what mybe the cause how long dose it take for healing ?

Postsurgical pain: Postsurgical pain, protracted, is possible and many times it might last indefinitely. The best person to separate your pain from structural changes left behind would be the surgeon as he or she would be able to come up with the best plan going forward as they have worked on that area of your body.

i am speaking for my mom the pt laura. she has been in and out of the hospital for the last two months with seizures and strokes. she has tremors can not communicate and get up. i dont know what to do?

good day. i have been getting hives/dermatagraphia.. i think... started 3 weeks ago went to gp. antihistamine, creams and allergex. pretnizone and laura.. did a food allergy test which was negative. now raised lines n lumps daily?

Physical : Dermographia (skin writing) is the most common cause of hives. Triggered by heat, vibration and pressure (sometimes cold) it is often associated with food, soaps/shampoo, detergent etc.  It is occasionally associated with thyroid disease/autoimmunity but mostly its underlying source is unknown.  Treatment begins with antihistamines at 1-4x usual dosing.

Intercostal strain: Most likely this is an intercostal muscle strain. A strain of the costochondral cartilage would be another possibility. Rest is the primary treatment for either one of these. I would recommend that you be pain-free with everyday activities for around 5 days before strenuous exercise. However, cardio training such as stationary biking and some medium-intensity walking may be tolerated now.

Controversial: That's a tough question to answer. Certainly playing violent games seems to be associated with violence, though that doesn't mean the games actually caused the violence in the real world. I would say that in my judgement, children who are already vulnerable may be more easily influenced, and that kids who play these kids of games constantly are more likely to be affected.

Get HELP !:  Start with a comprehensive  evaluation by a psychologist or a psychiatrist. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is excellent for
dealing w anger problems. Getting physical through aerobic activity is an excellent way to help keep anger in check. There are more serene ways to do it – including tai chi, qi gong, acupuncture, massage &amp; meditation. Avoid drugs &amp; don't look alcohol as a solution.
