Good day. i have been getting hives/dermatagraphia.. i think... started 3 weeks ago went to gp. antihistamine, creams and allergex. pretnizone and laura.. did a food allergy test which was negative. now raised lines n lumps daily?

Physical : Dermographia (skin writing) is the most common cause of hives. Triggered by heat, vibration and pressure (sometimes cold) it is often associated with food, soaps/shampoo, detergent etc. It is occasionally associated with thyroid disease/autoimmunity but mostly its underlying source is unknown. Treatment begins with antihistamines at 1-4x usual dosing.
