Healthy lifestyle: You need to eat a balanced diet with a great variety of fresh vegetables (green leafy, celery, zucchini, green beens, cabbage family, root vegetables, less nightshades; grapefruit and other tropical fruit in the morning for enzymes, goat and sheep dairy, sockeye salmon, containing astaxanthin, sardines, chicken, turkey, some beef, plenty of sping water. Adequate sleep and mild to moderate exercise.

In the case: mention losing weight during the early part of pregnancy is not only safe but is TO BE DESIRED.  Careful observation by your OB-GYN and I would suggest a qualified NUTRITIONIST is a good idea!  Hope this is helpful!

i used heroin for the first 8 weeks of pregnancy.once i found out i took suboxone for 10 days starting at 8mg a day, then to 4mg, then to 2mg to 0. i've taken prenatal the entire time, stayed in bed and eating. healthy. will i have healthy baby?

Heroin use during: pregnancy. Don't know how far along you are at this point.  Don't know if your ultrasounds &amp; other tests have been normal. Your obstetricain should have all of that information and be in the best position to answer this question. Depends: I hate to give that anwer but it really does. It depends on your starting weight.  If you are underweight, we want you to gain 40 -45 pounds. If you are of normal weight, 30-35 pounds. If you are overweight, less.  Too much weight gain can have serious consequences including increased risk of cesarean delivery, diabetes and shoulder dystocia.

Diet, exercise, bf: Sensible diet, and breast feeding help.  Find a post natal exercise program that allows you to exercise with your child in a stroller. It will not only help you shed pounds but also give you a new great group of mom friends with similarly aged children.
