Fruit eg berries: Congratulations on your decision to improve your health. Don't forget to include exercise (strength, aerobic & flexibility) in your plans. Try greek yogurt rather than regular plain yogurt. The greek kind has more protein. As for sweetener, i like to add various berries to plain greek yogurt. Some like to use agave syrup but don't get too caught up in those details. Focus on the big health picture.

Yogurt: That depends on what type of yogurt you are consuming. Yogurt can be very good for you as it has protein and other nutrients. However, some yogurt also contains excessive amounts of sugar. I would look for healthy, low sugar yogurts and would probably not consume more than three a day (one at each meal). Too much of anything is usually not good. Don't forget to exercise too!

Not so...: Too low or too high on anything is often not recommended...Thus use a sensible approach to your weight loss with balanced, healthy diet and exercises. You must come up with a plan that works for you day in/out without feeling it as a huge burden or else you won't likely succeed.
You definately should include fruits, veggies, yogurts, cereals as part of your healthy diet....

There are claims about weight loss, but data suggests that it is merely a diuretic and a laxative. Taking too much Tejocote root may result in toxicity which may cause dysrhythmias and respiratory depression.
