No: An inguinal hernia is a small hole in the pelvic/abdominal musculature. Think of it as a human dry wall problem. It will cause no internal infections, or external for that matter. Mild discomfort, a bulge, some burning or pain would be the symptoms, generally. Good luck .

Requires examination: the penis attaches to the pubic symphis by a suspensory ligament which you may have injured or strained, assuming no fracture to the base during sexual relations. I suggest a urology evaluation.

Levator muscle : There is a muscular layer around the anus that has some continuity with the base of the oenis that could have something to do with pain, although the way you came to have this pain probably will give better info about what muscles or erectile tissue you have overused, damaged, or there is some functional issues at hand. Clinical exam: You had an open hernia repair and are concerned for nerve entrapment.  You want to know if MRI will help in diagnosis.  Most surgeons will examnine you and take a history.  They may refer you to a pain specialist to block the area and get rid of the pain.  It can usually be controlled this way but does have a risk of causing over sensitivity. In this region.  Follow with your surgeon.

: If there is no penile discharge, typical UTI symptoms like burning and urinary urgency are not STD symptoms. Clearly you have no STD. The CT and MRI findings probably are a separate medical problem; they are unrelated to your sexual encounter or your urinary symptoms. Discuss with your doctors.

Why infection?: The temperature readings you mentioned are normal.  Is there another reasons why you think there's an infection?  Inordinate amounts of pain?  Diarrhea?  Does the surgical site look red, or is there pus oozing from it?  Again, those temperature readings are normal, but if you have a real concern about infection then you need to visit with your surgeon very soon.

Best to get an evaluation from your surgeon. You can also ask for a second opinion if warranted.
