See your doctor: You could be fatigued due to hard work and poor sleeping habits. Depression, thyroid abnormalities, anemia of any number of types, sleep apnea or other causes of chronic insomnia are possible as well. The best option is to talk to your physician and get a complete workup as soon as possible. If no physical abnormalities can be identified a visit to a counselor or psychiatrist would be a good idea.

Primary doctor first: For fatigue and tiredness, one should see her primary doctor for a thorough evaluation. Such symptoms are very common and can be due to almost any medical problem. If the primary doctor suspects that the tiredness is related to emotional stress, depression, thyroid hormone imbalance, cortisol imbalance, anemia, toxins, infections, etc..., the doctor can order tests after doing an exam.

Insomnia: Hi, sorry to hear about ur problem, what causes u to wake up? Do u need to go to bathroom? When u wake up is it easy to go back to sleep? How&#x27;s ur mood?  Any anxiety? U can try some meditation and relaxation before sleep, don&#x27;t watch TV or read book in bed, bedroom is only for sex and sleep, go to be at the same time every nite and wake up at the same time, do not nap, decrease alcohol and caffein

hello. i think im suffering from insomnia. i take melatonin everyday to fall asleep but i cant stay asleep i wake up 2/3 per night. i do suffer with anxiety+depression, my blood works are normal. im just always tired. what other tests can be done?

i get an average of 3-4 hrs of sleep a day.when i feel tired, i take a few more hrs in the evening. yet im still not productive and fall asleep. help?

Not enough sleep: At age 18, a person needs about 9 hours of sleep a night. Less than this on a chronic basis will limit productivity, attention, social activity, etc. 
If the quality of sleep is poor, see a professional trained in sleep medicine for advice and consultation.

Cant go back 2 sleep: It is likely that at 4am, you're having a hard time quieting your mind, try some relaxation to fall back asleep (visualization, music, etc). Create a consistent wake time and avoid naps. Go to bed only when you are tired. If you can't fall asleep within 20 mins, get out of bed until you're tired again. Avoid substances that impact sleep, like alcohol.

Take a test: These do not sound like typical early pregnancy symptoms.  But if you are considering pregnancy, the easiest answer is a pregnancy test.  Sometimes people complain about sleep disturbances if their mood is depressed.  Is there any chance this could be the cause?

Likely tension/work.: This is likely to be due to being overworked or to tension.  You might need a rest from your study, or a refreshing hobby that stimulates you.  Exercise and time outside can be a real help, and your body will get sunlight that is very important in processing of things like vitamin d, and cleansing of skin irritants and acne.  Take some time for yourself and you'd be surprised how you feel.
