i'm 9 months pregnant, last ultrasound at 8 months showed my baby sitting instead head down, i've been told the umbilical cord could be around his neck. are the home-"spinning-baby excersises safe to to turn him head down? my ob won't perform an ecv?

: The chances of a baby turning in any direction decrease as they get larger and the uterus reaches its maximum size. It is so tight directional movement decreases. It may happen naturally, but nothing you can do will change things. Try any and your c-section may need to be done as an emergency under with diminishing chances for a good outcome. Risky, Risky, Risky.

i feel a wave is going thru my head on the right side. my vitals ok when i go to dr& er  but i am shaky inside. my neck  hurts. full of gas. ?

Relax: do BIOFEEDBACK Avoid drugs, nervousness, anxiety  . Usually try behavior modification, punctuality in sleeping, read a book and warm milk  if u like. Avoid caffeine, drinking, . Do regular exercise.

No blockage: It is difficult to explain your symptoms. However there is possibility of you having arthritis in neck causing pinching of nerves on right side. See a neurologist.

ENT follow up?: Possible eustachian tube disorder. An exam by an ENT may help rule out ETD. Epstein barr  or CMV possible. Biopsy of one of the lymph nodes would be helpful in case it's sarcoidosis. Meniere's and rare migraine also a possibility.

mri with contrast of  brain and neck all normal (3 weeks ago). i have developed a dizzy feeling in the afternoons . pain is located on left hand side of head (temple, jax, ear) and now have a fullness feeling arose face(nasal area). any ideas ?

: Migraine might fit the dizziness, focal headache, and facial sensations, but would rule out jaw (TMJ), dental, focal sinus as other possible explanations.  In your case, would start with a dentist, neurologist later if dental evaluation is nonproductive.

can cervical disc bulge and neck pain/strain cause right side tenderness of head, ear fullness and tinnitus? as per pta, normal hearing. mri brain normal too. taking d high 2000 iu and nuflam for disc bulge. can this trigger tinnitus? can it be cured?

: By Mayo clinic: medications known to cause tinnitus include nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) and certain antibiotics, cancer drugs, water pills (diuretics), antimalarial drugs and antidepressants. You are taking Nuflam, an NSAID, so it can be the cause the tinnitus. Cervical neuropathy due to herniated disc may cause the tenderness.

pcp says i have "reactive" lymph node on right side of neck for approx. 1 year. now have swollen node in upper right armpit. ob says not related to breast issues. also said had a slightly larger node in right groin area. possible causes?

"Reactive lymph nde": Lymph nodes are "reactive" when enlarged, and can be related to more serious conditions.  If your family history is positive for breast disease, a digital mammogram would be indicated.  The node in the groin area may be unrelated to those in the neck and armpit, and could relate to a vaginal viral or bacterial infection.  Biopsy of the node in the neck or armpit might be necessary.

so i have this pain right below my neck whenever i bend my head down or turn my head to the left side. been like this all day. i am also nauseated.

Pain in the neck: The pain with movement is probably a muscle strain. Use warm compresses and tylenol (acetaminophen) or Motrin for the pain and this should improve. The nausea is not related to the neck pain   try to reduce your acid low by eating low acid foods reduce your stress and get some sleep. The nausea should resolve if you ear better. Good luck.
