: Yes, you can take 2 antibiotics at the same time if indicated. We often prescribe 2 antibiotics at the same time when we want a broad spectrum coverage without culture result. Sometimes, we can use one stone to kill 2 birds, e.g. cephalexin (Keflex) or amoxicillin/clavulanate (augmentin) can be used for both tooth and bladder infection if we have urine culture result or we base on history.
