Hypothyroid: If you have hypothyroidism you should not need thyroid gland removal.
What you do need is proper dosing with thyroxine. You should have your thyroid levels measured every 2-3 months till everything is stable.
You might also want to check your pulse rate at bedtime. If the rate is slow you are likely not taking enough. If your pulse is fast, either you are taking too much or there is another reason

Yes: whether to travel or not has nothing to do with having hypothyroidism.  If your pregnancy has been normal, you should still be able to travel at 6 months.  I assume you are taking thyroid hormone to keep your thyroid level normal.  It should be monitored during the pregnancy.

Nope: Hi. No, don't be the least bit concerned. It's the most easily and perfectly treated of all endocrine hormone deficiency conditions. Take your medicine daily, and if you forget one day's thyroid hormone, take 2 the next day. Easy! Good luck!
