i stopped eating processed foods (and those foods contain a lot of salt), i eat only healthy food, but i don't use table salt. do you think i have hyponatremia? i started needing to drink 8+ litres of water a day, otherwise i feel dry. thank you?

: Get the app Cronometer and use it to track your sodium salt intake.  One can survive on 250 mg a day. About the amount of salt in a McDonald's small fries.  My guess is you are eating 10 x this but check it out. No risk of hyponatremia if other things working well. Drink when thirsty should be the rule. Peeing is because you are drinking more than the body needs that day. DASH diet best. Discuss.

NO- too much!: Experts advise drinking 1/2 -1 ounce of water per pound of weight each day (or 1-2 ounces per kg). It depends: It depends on your health , your activity level and where you live. A rule of thumb is that men 70 kg weight should drink around 3 l per day whereas women same weight should drink2.2 l.

Two liters.: Two liters a day should be sufficient, but that can vary from day to day, depending on how much water your body consumes based on your activity level. If your urine is clear, or nearly clear, then that's a pretty good indicator that you're well hydrated.

Sounds like a lot: That sounds like a lot of fluid to take in, but are  they super active and sweating a lot?  People need increased fluids if very physically active.  If that's not the case, and this is a new thing, you may to have the child seen by their doctor to make sure there isn't something else going on, like new onset of diabetes.

Kidney issues: There could be an underlying cause to the color of your urine including blood in your urine, infection or other chemicals. I suggest seeing a doctor for a urinalysis to get a breakdown of the chemicals in your urine.

Stop weights: replenish your electrolytes with PowerAde, Gatorade, Vitamin water and a good multivitamin. Work with a trainer for form and technique. Take a week off and concentrate on diet and hydration.

At least: And more depending on your activity level, ambient temperature and especially if you are ill.  An adult needs to replace the mininmal 600ml of urine daily loss not to mention water vapor in respiration, perspiration and fecal fluid losses.  Drink 3 litres per day, just don't overdo it.
