: Surfactant is a product that mimics a natural one made in the lungs as it matures. I doubt it has anything to do with your issues 30 years later. What is common for those infants that needed surfactant to survive is residual lung scarring and sensitivity to respiratory illness for their lifetime. Early covid strains attacked deep lung tissues as their major target. Some injury improves/some remain

Heart burn: These symptoms are consistent with acid reflux and esophagitis with esophageal spasm.  Timing is classic.  You should discuss with your doctor. You have a heart condition also so make sure your  heart is ok.

: No doctor here can diagnose a heart attack with a paragraph of information. If your pain continues, get seen in person for a full evaluation.

i was diagnosed with hiv early june , 2022, since then i have been on effective art. i started seeing some rash on the top of my chest and parts of my back. i took loratidine for 10 days and it is cleared. should i stick to the loratidine?

: If the rash recurs with stopping the loratadine, you should see your doctor to find out the etiology of the rash. If it is an allergic reaction to the HIV medicine, there are alternatives available. So, see if the rash recurs without the loratadine as it might not. If it does, see your doctor. Good luck!

is it normal to get headaches during early pregnancy in your neck and back of head with slight sensitivity to light? chin touches chest fine. tension?

Likely benign: Very likely this is a tension headache like you mentioned. Be sure to stretch your muscles weekly with exercises like yoga. Continue to stay well hydrated with water and clear fluids. Use tylenol (acetaminophen) as needed for pain. If it worsens or you cannot keep fluids down, see your doctor.

COVID-19: It has been reported that there are many lingering effects from covid exposure long after your initial infection. It may not just be anxiety. Dizziness and disorientation are but a few of those issues following recovery. Do your best to stay focused. It may not be easy but it is what you need to do.

Not likely: The pain seems to be involving different areas of your body, is it mostly left sided? The duration also, 1 week, is not consistent with angina or chest pain due to cardiac disease. A search for alternate causes for the pain is recommended. Please do talk to your doctor about your symptoms.

Mitral valve ?'s: With occurrence of chest pain, palpitations and EKG with tachycardia/earl repolarization, you should be under the care of a cardiologist. Mitral valve prolapse and/or insufficiency can cause long standing cardiac dysfunction, and may require surgical intervention.

Emergency room: The source of the problem may be related to an abdominal process such as  an abscess. A full workup includes an ultrasound, chest image, labs and urinalysis.

Gerd: Without a detailed history and medications list I suspect 2 issues. Most probably severe heart burn GERD. Also still need to rule out heart disease vs copd/asthma.
