Postop Drinking: If you are referring to drinking alcohol after breast reduction surgery, or any surgery, there are many factors to consider. 
1. Don't drink alcohol while you are taking prescription pain medications. The combination could be dangerous. 
3. Don't drink alcohol to excess for the first 2-4 weeks after surgery. There is the possibility you could fall or hurt yourself and/or your surgical site.

Varies: It depends on what you are studying in school.  You could probably go back when you are off pain meds and feeling comfortable.  If you have vigorous physical activity as part of school, you would need more time off.  It's best to discuss this with your surgeon.

Itching: First if it is the scars that are itching and they are raised you may benefit from steroid treatment. You should use silicone sheeting at this point and a moisturizer for the skin.

They get smaller: A variable percentage of the breast tissue is fat, which will diminish with weight loss. That is one reason why we recommend that patients get close to a healthy weight before surgery, so we don't over-reduce. However, many women find that exercise is easier after breast reduction surgery so it can be challenging.

Before discharge: You will be walking before you are discharged; travel depends on your surgeon and the amount of travel and mode.

Not too long...: My breast reduction patients are up walking on the evening of these outpatient operations. Generally it is a good idea to wait 10-14 days before travel away from your surgeon. Long distance travel that requires a lot of lifting and activity is probably best avoided for 3-4 weeks, but this is almost entirely dependent on the individual patient.

Yes for at least 2..: Weeks.  After that, I have my patients wait till they are comfortable enough to have sex.
