Generally very warm compresses used frequently are the first line of treatment. You may use a topical antibiotic such as neosporin, with limited benefit depending on the depth of the infection See a doctor soon if it does not improve.

Boil Therapy: The primary home remedy for most boils is heat application, usually with hot soaks or hot packs. Heat application increases the circulation to the area and allows the body to better fight off the infection by bringing antibodies and white blood cells to the site of infection. My wife uses toothpaste on pimples which is sometimes helpful. Boils that do not respond need to be drained & antibiotics.

May need surgery!: Simply draining (even by a doctor), squeezing, or treating with antibiotics may not eliminate this infected sebaceous cyst. The cyst sac that produces sebum must be surgically excised to prevent its recurrence. If not, infection may actually end up destroying enough tissue that once healed it won't recur, but this is backwards "treatment." have a surgeon look at this and deal with it definitively!

Boils &amp; pimples: Not every boil, pimple etc eventually bursts. Some resolve on their own w/o rupturing &amp; leaking pus. Try applying warm compresses as hot as tolerated w/o burning yourself. And as frequently as possible. This might help your body to either heal it or drain on its own. Some collections of pus aka abscess do require your Family Doc to lance &amp; drain if warm compresses aren't enough.

Salt water soaks: You may try salt water soaks but whatever you do, do not try to squeeze or pop it yourself.  Take 1 table spoon of salt to a pint (large glass) of warm (not hot) tap water.  Soak a wash cloth in it then let it sit on the "boil" for 5-10 minutes 2-3 times each day.  This may help.
