Depends:GoalsAmounts: For your stated issues & symptoms, likely largely irrelevant. If goal is too loose wt, skipping last meal in day & not eating overnight may help. However sugars, as in fruit, most readily ↑ blood sugar, drive diabetes mellitus & fat storage (obesity) over time pending quantities, physiology & activity levels. Why do so many people expect simplistic, often off-topic answers to complex life issues?

Asking Impossible: As I am sure you realize eating sanely through out the day is the most healthy way to eat food.  Fasting and then eating large meals is the worse health choice you can be making.   There is no way around this fact.

As the manager, wouldn't it be prudent to institute as a role model sane eating and breaks for your employees to follow and see?

Breakfast?: Timing doesn't matter. Better to eat breakfast as well; then you may have a less heavy lunch and dinner. Keeps metabolism from sagging in the A.M.Also gut can handle fruits and protein foods at same time. Quantity is always an issue, especially if trying to maintain or lose weight.

No single answer but: Some nutritionists feel morning is the best time to eat fruit & that it is best digested on an empty stomach or with dairy, nuts & seeds or greens. No: Where did you read or hear this?   Fruits are healthy for you and can be consumed at anytime.   Sweets aren't good for your teeth, but in moderation they are ok as well.   Neither one of these are "bad".    Do you have any medical conditions I need to know about?  In some instances, patients maybe advised to avoid/reduce some fruits or sweets.  (Diabetes for example)

Balanced diet: One should always have a balanced diet.  To lose weight one needs to have portion control and to exercise.  As a general rule, a salad-sized plate should be filled halfway with vegetables, 1/4 with lean protein the size of a deck of cards, 1/4 with complex carbs.  One should try to exercise for 30 min 3-5/wk, or walk 10, 000 steps a day.  Too many fruits may aggravate Insulin resistance.

Diets weight loss: There are hundreds of diets out there.  Many work, many don't.  They often don't take into account that people come in different heights, me rights, ages, sexes, races, metabolic rates, exercise levels, have different jobs, and different daily levels of activity.  So, the message is, there is no magic pill or perfect diet. Best to seek advice of a dietician and / or md for a specific plan for you.

Why the rush: Infants have no biological need for solids for the first year and beyond.Breast milk or formula contains all the nutrients they need to thrive.As a culture, we want to get our kids to table feed at some point but there is no rush.Some infants will need to be offered a new item up to 25 times before they are interested.Relax and try to enjoy this stage.

Fruit: Too much fruit would only be if you have bowel changes.
