Exercises: Spot fat loss does not occur naturally. By losing weight in general  some may upper body abdominal fat.  But, we don't get to choose what area of body fat is lost from. Eat healthy &amp; be physically active. Calories burned must &gt; those consumed. Eat less, Exercise : Upper and lower body fat are reduced when you do aerobic exercise--i.e. Burn calories like walking, jogging, treatmill etc (not lifting weights) and reducing your calories below what you need. Take you weight, multiple by 
10, thats the calories, more or less to stay the same, subtract 500 calories a day and you will lose 1 lb. Per week, subtract 1000 and you lose 2 lb. Per week.

Refer to answer: You do not need to a lot of exercise to loose weight. Eating right and not gmo is key to success. No cereals, whet, soy, corn, juices, sodas rey, and barley are the problems. Slowly will loose weight. Concentrate on loe salt cheese, almond and tahini butter.Also avocado, sesame, and flaxseed.

Daily activities: You cannot target specific areas for weight loss -start by making your daily activities more difficult - take the stairs, park further away, bike/ walk to work/ store, sit on a swiss ball/ at your desk and stand up every time you answer the phone, or  lunge/ hop/ jump from place to place in your house. Things like these may seem small and silly, but the increased calorie burn can add up over time.

Build muscles, and..: Helpful diets have natural foods that take time to chew but contain fewer calories. Examples include carrots, celery, and iceberg lettuce (little/no salad dressing). When shopping for fruits, buy small ones no bigger than a tennis ball, because fruits have sugar. Drinks without calories include water and green tea. Eat lean protein such as skinless chicken breast. Avoid sugar & simple starches.

Weight training: You can build muscle mass in that area of the body by engaging in a systematic program of increased weigh training for the upper body. Best to start with a trainer. Avoid protein shakes, but eat healthy proteins, from nuts and beans, after each work-out.

i have raised my beds head about 6 inches due to acid reflux.my 8 years old boy sleeps with me. is there any -ve impact on him, such as reduced blood circulation to his upper body that may not be good as he is growing?

No: Raising the head of the bed 6” will not affect your son whatsoever and MAY provide you with some relief.
