Proper brushing and flossing go a very long way in preventing periodontitis, as does a healthy diet and regular professional check-ups and cleanings. Keep up the good work and you should minimize and dental problems.

Relax your jaw: if that doesn't work make a mouth guard for your lower teeth. And cover your lower teeth while the denture soaks.

See: See your Dentist and/or Dental Hygienist to review the best brushing method for you.  What works for the next person may need to be modified for you.  In general you should be gently brushing 2 full minutes 2x/day with a soft toothbrush and a pea sized portion of fluoridated toothpaste, the entire tooth structure including the tooth/gum junction.  Daily flossing is mandatory.  See your Dentist.

: Any sugar free gum or mints are good. ADA approval is meaningless if you don't practice good oral hygiene and brush, floss and maintain a healthy diet. Chewing the gum helps remove some of the bacteria that causes cavities, but the gum alone is not the answer. A complete healthy lifestyle is what is necessary.

No: Dental sealants will only help to prevent cavities.  They will do nothing to help the gums.

since my gums in my mouth are bright red, what can i do to prevent from that to happen? any treatment?

Brush 2-3x daily: Start brushing with a new brush and toothpaste 2-3 times per day. Only use a small amount of toothpaste. Visit a dentist/hygienist ASAP...they will help you get pretty pink healthy gums fast!
If you haven't been in for a dental cleaning in a while the best treatment will be a prophylaxis which is where the plaque and bacteria are physically polished away from the tooth surfaces.  : D

who do you see when your dentist can't figure out what's wrong after root canals, extractions, sinus scan being normal, and still pain in gums/teeth?

Pain: The cause of pain in any part of your body is sometimes difficult to isolate. Do you have pain in specific teeth? Do those teeth have root canal therapy or are they vital? It may be necessary to visit an endodontist to re-evaluate any teeth with root canal therapy.  Tooth fractures can sometimes cause pain without being detected. There may also be a neurological component to address.

Possibly: If the teeth are broken down that much, they are probably non-vital. The root tips, if communicating with the sinus, can carry oral bacteria into the sinus causing inflammation and/or infection. The teeth sound as if they are hopeless.. You really need to see a dentist to have them extracted.

is it possible to get a sinus infection on just one side? and with a sinus infection, can the pain radiate into the gums? and if so, would it stay localized in the front near the sinus cavity or would it radiate to your back teeth?

: Sinus infection may be more severe on one side to give the appearance of a unilateral infection. Pain in teeth of the upper jaw is a common side effect of sinusitis. Try steam/water vapor inhalation to help clear the exudate in the sinus cavity. If you get fever or if the pain does not decrease in a couple of days, you may wish to consult an ENT doctor.
