No but: No but your dentist can place a glass ionomer coating on any roots that are exposed to help sensitivity. Make sure to gently brush your gums and floss to avoid the erosion. Avoid sucking on lemons.

NO: No a dental sealant will not protect your gum tissue from eroding. Have your dentist check your bite and make sure it is balanced. Also check for wear facets or signs of clenching and grinding. Also make sure you do not use anything stiffer than a soft tooth brush.
