Both Safe: Peanuts are a little more allergenic than almonds, and the fat in almonds is a little healthier than that in peanuts.  But both good.  Eat what you prefer.

Possibly: Listeriosis primarily is foodborne.  Incriminated foods include unpasteurized milk and soft cheeses, deli meat, undercooked poultry, raw vegetables grown in soil contaminated with infected animal feces.

Vit E: Vit E is a valuable, beneficial antioxidant vitamin.  However, natural E is far superior to synthetic E.  It is safe to supplement with natural E up to 200 iu per day.  That much synthetic E is not helpful and potentially unhealthy.  Natural E is:  alpha, beta, gamma tocopherol, only the d-isomer.  (NOT THE dl-isomer).

Yes: I recently read a couple of studies and there's no evidence to date to show that women should avoid peanuts in pregnancy.  Peanuts, almonds, these are all great sources of fat, folate (folic acid) and protein in pregnancy.  Sadly, there is a rise of peanut allergies in our country.  But mom's ingestion of peanuts while baby in utero isn't one of the reasons.  Pb&j.... Away!

In moderation: "Almonds are a nutritious source of protein, iron, vitamin E and heart-healthy unsaturated fats. These nutrients help support a healthy pregnancy and are a nutritious addition to your diet. If you're concerned about the risk of nut allergies, research doesn't indicate a danger if you eat almonds while pregnant."

No, but: That's a lot of almonds.  1 ounce of almonds is 20 - 25 of them. This amount contains 170 calories.  If you eat a cup of almonds, you are getting over 1300 calories from that alone.  Depending on your body, this may be 3/4 of the calories you should be eating in a day.  You need more variety, girl!

i have some questions on diet during first trimester if pregnancy. can i eat boiled egg,over night socked almonds, walnuts everyday.some people say they are heat and not recommended during first trimester. i have vomitings so my body is getting weak.

Trying eat light: might help the nausea, the foods you mention, could be tougher for you. However, if they agree with you and you have a craving for them, this could be alright for you.
