Every 4 -6 hours: The usual dose of Atarax is 25 mg every 6 hours. You can increase to 50mg, and take as often as every 4 hours, but the side effects of drowsiness and dry mouth are more severe at higher doses. The generic name of Atarax is hydroxyzine, which is also available as vistaril.

Sedation: No. All three are sedating in their on right the combination would be greater due to synergism. In other words we aren't merely adding a sedating effect we are multiplying it.

Nyquil: Nyquil is a cough medication that has several ingredients including an antihistamine. While I doubt that you'd have a serious interaction with the atarax, you wouldn't want the stimulant effect of the pse in Nyquil. Are you taking the full strength dose of atarax(50mgs)? If not try taking the 50 mgs at bedtime which may give you sedation for sleep as well as antiitch effect. Discuss with your MD.

Pruritus: Moisturizer your skin regularly, especially after showring, dont use very hot water. Eliminate all otc supplements, if the problem persists see an allergist.

PUPPP: You may have puppp - pruritic urticarial papules and plaques of pregnancy, a benign but itchy problem that resolves at delivery. But there are many causes of itchy rashes. If miserable see your primary care provider, midwife, OB or dermatologist. A picture is worth a 1000 words. They may know it & what is best to do when they see it.

Remote: Since Atarax does have some cardiovascular effects, at 1700  mg it may remotely possibly cause problem for people with  a cardiac rhythm issue.  Far more common would be drowsiness, dry mouth, and even constipation. If you are contemplating suicide, I urge you to call the suicide hotline ASAP.

: There is moderate interaction between buspar and atarax which can increase dizziness, drowsiness, confusion, and difficulty concentrating. You are young and atarax dose is low so you can use them together occasionally but do not drive or operate machinery after taking this combination.
