OK together but...: Minerals are best absorbed on an empty stomach as adequate stomach acid helps & our stomachs have the most acid when empty. However, stomach acid kills acidophilus, so it's far better to take it after a meal (for some strange reason many probiotic labels say take on empty stomach- they're wrong!). Biotin can be taken any time. Taking vit c with iron improves absorption. Consider vit. D in winter.

Depends: Stay away from folic acid. Use metafolin instead, and 400-800 mcg once a day is enough. I usually do not recommend that much biotin unless there is a reason.
Do not overdose on vitamins.

It depends: The recommended daily intake for biotin is 30 mcg but most people don't need to take any as it is fairly easy to get that amount via your diet. However. Some people benefit from larger amounts for conditions such as diabetes and brittle nails. Doses up to 16, 000 mcg/day have been used to treat diabetes and have been found to be safe. Maybe: That's a ridiculously high dose of biotin.  The only indication to take biotin is if you have a true biotin deficiency.  And in that case the dose is 100-1000 mcg daily.  The dose you are taking is high, but there are no real documented side effects.  Likely the majority of that dose will be excreted.

Anytime: Biotin is in most foods already so you are taking some all the time. It is very safe. That being said most people with a regular diet do not need extra biotin.

Too much: Usually recommended daily intake of biotin for adults is  30-100 µg [micrograms]; so 5000 µg is far more than necessary. Biotin is incorporated slowly, so high doses aren't going to move things along any more quickly. Gradually increase dose from 100 up to 1000 µg. May take 3-4 months to see effects. Note: egg whites bind biotin; so don't take them together.

Likely fine: As even for adults, the adequate intake levels are around 30 mcg/day.  So, your unlikely to suffer from splitting your tablet in half, at least biotin intake wise.
