I have a 6000 mcg biotin but i just want to take 3000 mcg per day, can i just take half of the tablet each day and eventually get the same requirement?

Likely fine: As even for adults, the adequate intake levels are around 30 mcg/day. So, your unlikely to suffer from splitting your tablet in half, at least biotin intake wise.
