Risk from mercury: Probably not a great idea to eat any salmon everyday due to mercury content in even wild salmon.  You can look up dietary recommendations, but i think the usually recommendation is  2 to 3 times per week max.

Accepted Answer

Yes!: The amounts are modest: 130 iu per serving. I recommend 2000 iu per day.  A regular vitamin for daily use contains only 400 iu, as does one quart of milk.

why would i have ruq pressure and fullness from time to time with no gallbladder present any longer?

Accepted Answer

RUQ pressure: If your gallbladder has been removed, then you may be having problem with the gallbladder sphincter of oddi, or reflux that is felt in the RUQ. Some have this type problem after cholecsytectomy. If it is quite bothersome then you can see an M.D. for further workup of it. Nothing alarming in what you are saying though.

No: Tapeworms, or Taenia sagomata, come from undercooked beef or pork. The article you read warns about uncooked fish. The canning process eliminates almost all bacteria. So, if the canned salmon is cooked, then there is little to worry about. Best prevention: avoid uncooked salmon.

i have intermittent left chest pain and pressure. have seen several drs, no explanation. it comes and goes but. now it lasts longer. what could it be?

See your doctor: These types of symptoms need to be augmented with a physical examinations and perhaps labs and x-rays.  Talk with your doctor.

i believe had esophogitis pain in the middle of my chest. every so often like when getting up out of my chair i'll feel it more like a sudden pressure. don't want to go to er. dr google says longer than 3 minutes go to er. does it mean constant 3 min?

See doctor: At your age and based on your history, anxiety may be the issue. However it is best for you to consult your doctor.  If you have risk factors for heart disease (diabetes, strong family history, high lipid, hypertension etc) , then an ER visit would be prudent.

Try to get meds.: It's not safe to cut long-acting medications, such as once-daily blood pressure medications, in half.  See if you can be prescribed generic versions of the medications you are on.  That would be safer.

Sodium : Some people can take plenty of sugar and sodium, smoke, drink alcohol regularly and say I feel great so why are you telling me to count down?
