It depends: In general, the larger the cancer gets, the faster it grows. Think of a snowball. When it’s small and you roll it, it gets a little bigger. When it’s big and you roll it, it gets a LOT bigger. Each tumor type grows at different rates,  it throat cancer can be one of the faster ones.

Throat cancer: Hello, the most common type of throat cancer is called squamous cell carcinoma. This type of cancer is very dangerous because it spreads so quickly. However, there are a few important variables that affect each patient individually. First where is the cancer originating?  If it comes from the vocal cords or from the tongue. This is very important. Also the grade of the cancer itself. Good luck.

I wish I could say..: I wish i could say yes. But, unfortunately the answer is no. 
When the throat cancer has spred to the liver that is a stage IV disease and is an incurable disease. It is stil a treatable disease. Please discuss detail treatment plan with your oncologist.

Yes and yes: Both throat and thyroid cancer can spread to the central neck lymph nodes, which are essentially next to the thyroid bed.  Smoking and alcohol use will increase your chance of having throat cancer.  Given your history of thyroid cancer, this is probably more likely.  A thyroid scan or fine needle biopsy of the area can help answer the question, along with checking a serum thyroglobulin.

my friends uncle had throat cancer  (tumor) spread to lungs and blood according to doctors and say survival is impossible, what options does he have?

Chemotherapy: Mainstay of treatment for tumor that is metastatic is chemotherapy.  Local treatments like surgery, radio surgery or radiation can do just that local control.  So i would say chemotherapy + a local control if disease is limited.  Hospice and palliative care can be of great help if patient can not tolerate aggressive treatment and disease is advanced.

Can happen: The HPV virus has been known to be associated with the development of squamous cancer of the cervix.  More recently, HPV has been shown to also be associated with oral squamous cancer.  Since the virus is present under the foreskin of the penis and the vaginal area of  the cervix, any means by which the virus can enter the oral cavity can induce the squamous cell lesion. Cunilingus is one method.

Not necessarily.: Throat cancer usually is curable with radiation therapy (and sometimes chemo at the same time, occasionally surgery).  It is important to be treated at a large cancer center with experience treating throat cancer.
