is throat cancer bad?

1 doctor answer
Dr. Matthew Solhjem
20 years experience Radiation Oncology
Not necessarily.: Throat cancer usually is curable with radiation therapy (and sometimes chemo at the same time, occasionally surgery). It is important to be treated at a large cancer center with experience treating throat cancer.
