Movement has no : Effect on how big the cyst will be. Often times the cyst can rupture on their own. Outside of that you can have it aspirated with a needle. The old remedy to treat these was to hit it with a book. They were called "bible beater" lesions because the biggest book in the house was the bible.

hi i've just had a 8 cm ovarian cyst removed unfortunately it had twisted quite badly so they had to remove the ovary , im wondering? how much would the syst weigh and how fast do they grow ?

: An "8 cm ovarian cyst" contains fluid, and since the ovary is on a stalk, it can twist, which usually results in removal of the ovary. The cyst plus remaining ovary may weigh 1-2 pounds, and take months to achieve the "8 cm size".  You may be advised to preserve your fertility (if such is desired) by starting on low dose oral bcp's, which also will help prevent new cysts from forming.

how quickly do lumbar synovial cysts develop? nothing on mri 12/4/18. large cyst on mri 3/4/19. do they usually grow that fast?

No: No, that would be very unusual.  Sometimes the cuts of the mri can miss a cyst from one scan to the other.  You would also want to verify that both films are actually of you and not someone else.  Typically synovial cysts usually develop much slower than that, although it ia possible.

october 2020 i had a 7+cm cyst removed from my left ovary. this past weekend i was having pelvic pain again, and they found a new 8.5cm cyst on the left ovary. what could cause cysts to grow this fast? any malignancy concern for rapid growth?

: Ovarian cysts not uncommon in women after ovulation. There is no need to remove them unless there are other complications. One should see experienced Gynecologist/ Obstetrician especially if one still wants to conceive.

The cysts form when fluid builds up in a tube behind the testicles called the epididymis, which stores and transports sperm
  if a cyst is not infected and does not cause any pain or discomfort, it is not necessary to treat it
Although epididymal cysts are benign, it is still important to get any new or unusual lumps and bumps  checked  by MD

Parapelvic cysts: These cysts can grow obstructing surrounding pelvic structures.  Whoever diagnosed you with this should be following you closely every 3-6 months to determine growth, if any, and the need for surgical removal if indicated.
