Nutrient dense foods: Eat foods that are nutrient dense (like meat, fish, poultry, eggs, cheese, low starch vegatables and water) avoid foods that are not nutrient dense (like starches and sugars, including fruit)
 avoid sugars, fried foods, vegatable oils like canola & soy, meats that are cured wth nitrates & nitrites, aspartame, splenda, partially hydrogenated vegetable oils, maragarine,  soy based products, sweetened.

Lose both possibly: It all depends on how you progress with the weight loss. As long as you get adequate protein and most of your weight loss is from exercising then you will likely preserve your muscle. If the weight loss is from simply reduced calories from not enough food then you could actually lose muscle.

Vegetarian: Possibly, but you don't want to lose muscle at all.  Muscle is more metabolically active than fat, and allows you to move. To lose fat, you need to focus on healthy veggies, fruits, and proteins like beans, lentils, whole grains like quinoa, soy, etc.  Healthy fats too. Losing weight.: You can lessen the amount of muscle lost by adding weight training to your diet and exercise regimen.  Without weight training, the overall catabolism will include muscle.  In losing weight, we want to ideally lose proportionately more fat than muscle, and weight training helps to achieve this.

Balance is key: Protein is necessary for cellular repair especially if you are exercising.  Healthy fats (omega-3) is also necessary for healthy tissues and is a good source of energy.   Stay away from trans fats.  Limit processed food intake, sugar-especially high fructose corn syrup which is hidden in many foods.  If you are restricting your caloric intake you will indeed loose muscle and may store fat.

Weight: Depends what you are eating now, what you are exercising now.Generally, focus on low glycemic index foods and plenty of water.Continue with exercise but increase this to 5 days a week.Get your hormone levels.

: No. Your diet covers all of the vitamins and essential trace nutrients.
You will need to exercise to gain muscle, diet alone will not do it. A combination of aerobic exercise and resistance exercising/weight training will be needed to improve your muscle mass. The amount of gain will also be determined by your genetic make-up.
