i have a expander for 3 months. my 1st molar hurts a lot. i pushed down a little and i felt it move. i don't know if its the expander or the tooth. ?

Either: It could be either.  You should probably have your dentist take a look.  It could just be the pressure from the expander, a tooth that is going bad, or the expander pushing into the gum.

Age 9-10: A child will loose his or her first primary molar between ages 9 to 10.  Girls are normally quicker to develop and loose their teeth.  However, everyone has their own normal.  The sequence of which teeth are lost in order is the most important factor.

Be patient: What you see as a pearly material on the gum line in an infant may not be a tooth. That said, the pattern & sequence of tooth eruption is quite variable in infants.Some have teeth at birth & some not until 15 m.Sometimes the lateral teeth come in before the center ones. Most will have a balanced set by 3y.

Did dentist look at: Chances are you will be just fine.  It is probably not as bad as you perceive. The DA could have hurt you but the area could have been this way before treatment.  Please make the dentist aware of this for many reasons. The doctor should see this ASAP, so the injury can be followed for healing. The dentist will want to review technique with the assistant, but mostly will want to help you!

Don't try: Dentistry is not a diy profession.. It takes years of education and experience just to pass the exams to graduate and get a license to do exactly what you propose to do with no knowledge and no experience. Have a local dentist extract the tooth.

Need more info: An x-ray, the location of the tooth, and the teeth around it should tell you what it is. It is very unusual for a tooth to come in at your age.

See your dentist: to rule out sinus infection. Anytime you experience tooth pain upon impact of your foot hitting the ground, see your dentist. If no dental problem is found, a sinus infection is most likely the cause of your pain. Take care.

Collapse: You may have bite collapse on the right side where the tooth was removed and never replaced.  This can make your right cheek look sunken in.  Please see an dentist to have your occlusion evaluated.
