Elevated LDH…: Can have multiple causes: anemias, liver disease, pancreatitis, infectious mononucleosis (epstein-barr virus), heart ischemia/attack, low blood pressure… since "all else is normal" your doc may want an ldh isoenzyme test & a detailed personal history to narrow down the possibilities.

LDH, leukopenia: It means you need to see a Doctor and be evaluated. There are numerous possibilities as neither is specific. Notwithstanding its a good idea to have a work up as some of the possibilities are serious.

Yes it can: Yes it can. Ldh also can be elevated in different setting- for instance- in cancer, meningitis/encephalistis, liver problem, kidney problem, tissue damage/heart attack, certain medication in addition to hemolysis.

Need values: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Having said that, it would help to have the actual values of these tests. The values may still be in the normal range though at the extremes of normal values.

Needs evaluation!: This is a difficult question with no easy answers. However ldh elevation indicates that there are cells that are being killed. The protein in the urine could be from a variety of sources and of course the swollen lymph nodes suggest either infection or cancer. Your son needs to have a complete history and physical with perhaps other studies done to find out what is causing this.

: The significance or cause of a low MPV(mean platelet volume) depends on whether the patient has a high or low platelet count. Associated low platelet count indicates a bone marrow problem while an concomitant high platelet count can be due to inflammation or infection. Liver enzymes in Gilbert's syndrome are normal. High LDH is seen in liver disease as well as many other conditions.

Seek tertiary care: Your symptoms are non-specific.

It could be an infection (epstein-barr virus) vs hematologic disorder vs autoimmune disorder.

A visit to a tertiary, academic center may provide further insight into your underlying diagnosis

high ldh of 237 (range 100-200) i also am not a drinker but have high alt of 43. my doctor says that's from non alcoholic fatty liver. but just got results from ldh is that number worrisome? should i be doing more tests?

: Fatty liver could result in elevation of LDH. Note that is only a mild elevation. You need to lose weight to bring your liver to it normal health. More tests are not the answer.
For healthy diet: http://www.choosemyplate.gov/., exercise 30 minutes/day, drink enough water daily so your urine is mostly colorless, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs. 
Get HPV and Covid vaccines.

what could cause esr & crp to be consistently low? mine stay low even w/high wbcs, high ldh, confirmed injury/infection (spontaneous lung rupture) etc

Not a problem: Low ESR and CRP are never a problem. The reference ranges are arbitrarily set so that several percent of healthy folks will fall below. You'll need to look for some other cause of your spontaneous pneumothorax -- and again, you may never find it. Good luck.

: There are many things that can cause abnormal liver tests and feelings of malaise, primarily viral illnesses such as hepatitis. You certainly should have an evaluation by a liver specialist. Do not ignore this, even if your liver numbers improve. I would completely avoid alcohol in the meantime. Good luck.
