: There are many things that can cause abnormal liver tests and feelings of malaise, primarily viral illnesses such as hepatitis. You certainly should have an evaluation by a liver specialist. There are many things that can cause abnormal liver tests and feelings of malaise, primarily viral illnesses such as hepatitis. You certainly should have an evaluation by a liver specialist.
