Hydroceles: A rare cause of hydrocele in some developing countries is clogging of the scrotal lymphatic system caused by repeated or chronic infection with insect borne parasites. (eg wuchereria bancrofti). Generally these patients have  a condition  known as elephantiasis. This differs considerably from the typical "hydrocele".

Haven't seen one: Haven't seen any oral medicine nor any skin cream that can treat a hydrocele. A hydrocele is a residual space in between linings of certain places such as the spermatic cord area. Liquid builds up in the residual space and makes the space become a bubble containing fluid. Usually, surgery is needed to remove that part of the linings and tie off the end of the linings so fluid can't flow there.

No: Hydrocele, if need treatment, is a surgical condition.  Some guys can live with the symptoms of hydrocele and therefore may not need intervention.

: I don't know what "edging" is, but in "solo sex" masturbation is likely and ejaculation will not affect fertility or testes.  On the other hand, low sperm count, the important part of male infertility, is seen in men with hydrocele, and the latter should be evaluated.

See below: There are certain indications for this medication and may cause fever, headache, anorexia, nausea, and arthralgia as adverse reactions. The medication should be avoided in pregnancy

No: Use a cool pack for the swelling. Heat should generally be avoided in surgical areas.

Couple of months: Hydrocele is a collection of fluid around the testicle (in tunica vaginalis ) a begin condition, developed after the surgery after  due to oozing of blood resulting a hematoma it will get absorbed in couple of months , will return to normal.

Need more info: The physician who is treating you is the best person to give you the answer to your questions as there are a lot of other things that come into play. One must know the "whole" patient to determine what is going on and then prescribe the remedy. I can understand your concern &amp; your physician should sit down with you and explain his plan and why he prescribed this particular medication.
