Need more info: The physician who is treating you is the best person to give you the answer to your questions as there are a lot of other things that come into play. One must know the "whole" patient to determine what is going on and then prescribe the remedy. I can understand your concern & your physician should sit down with you and explain his plan and why he prescribed this particular medication.
