Hydroceles: A rare cause of hydrocele in some developing countries is clogging of the scrotal lymphatic system caused by repeated or chronic infection with insect borne parasites. (eg wuchereria bancrofti). Generally these patients have a condition known as elephantiasis. This differs considerably from the typical "hydrocele".
