Holy Cow.: in order to help you out, more historical information is needed. The cause of the pain can be the results of several different conditions and the treatment depends on the cause. Heel pain lasting 18 months , although unusual, is not unheard of. A focused examination and history is an absolute at this point.

Unrelated: Heel pain is not a symptom of thyroid disease.  When you say low TSH, do you mean in the range of 0.1-0.4 or less than 0.1?  A slightly low TSH of 0.1 to 0.4 is usually a benign normal variation whereas a TSH of less than 0.1 could be a sign of an overactive thyroid which would require further testing and possibly treatment.

Plantar fasciitis : Is the most common cause then i would think of heels spurrs but not in a million years heart disease! don&#x27;t worry about that one. Try rolling your foot over a cold soda 16-20 oz bottle for 15 minutes twice a day and taking 2 aleve (naproxen) twice a day and see if it helps!

Start by doing calf stretches, Ibuprofen (or other anti-inflammatory), and wearing arch supports (all day long). If that doesn't work see a foot specialist. Good luck!

Much more information is needed to understand your concerns.  It's a good idea to speak to your primary care doctor and discuss the possibilities. Often chronic unresolved pain is not just one thing.

Possible: Plantar fascitiis, try icing the foot when ou can, stretching your achilles when you can, wearing an arch support at all times, take an antiinflammatory if no contraindication, when all else fails see your foot doc.
