B and L: Small individual meals are best since they increase the metabolism of the body and cause less storage as fat when compared to a large individual meal. The earlier in the day you start your metabolism going- by eating- the better off you are.

: Actos is a once a day medication and can be taken with brunch but at the same time each day.  Dosage depends on your diabetic status,whether you're taking other diabetic medication and recent blood sugars. Your physician can advise you best.

Problem is not bread: If you are trying to lose weight first and foremost you will always need exercise. We are covered from head to toe in muscle and they need to be used.What better way to burn fat than to use our own built in fat burners. This habit will also keep you from regaining weight.Plus if you really love bread the preferred source of fuel for muscle is carbs/bread. Get checked by a wt mgmt med doctor also.

Generic tips: Spend time being kind to yourself, and get regular aerobic exercise, follow a mediterranean diet, alcohol in moderation, avoid primary or secondary smoking, avoid recreational drugs.  Meditation and yoga seem of value long-term.  Mental health seems soundest when folks focus on needs of others and are out in the community.  Socialization is critical, reading is great, tv not so.

But they are calorie rich, and a high % is fat, so best in moderation.   For real benefit, a handful of nuts instead of a junk food snack, all as part of a healthy diet.
