Cyst / Lymph node: Either a cyst or lymph node.  Hard to say without exam.  If this is resolving I do not think you have much to be concerned about. But if progressive you should see someone.

Grinding teeth?: There are a number of possibilities here, however if you find yourself grinding your teeth while sleeping or if putting gentle pressure on the lump as you open and close your jaw you may have inflammation of your TMJ.  Anti inflammatories like ibuprofen may help some.  If check with your dentist. Other masses in the area (parotid gland) generally wouldn't contribute to headaches.

i'm 18 and have a lump i front of my  tragus(ear) it disappears when i open my mouth. i compressed that area with warm water and it has gone down abit?

Possibly: It's possible that you have a "preauricular" (in front of the ear) lymph node.  Though this is hard to determine without better understanding any associated symptoms or the actual appearance/feeling of the "lump".  You should seek medical attention if this lump does not resolve in the upcoming weeks or gets larger or you develop other symptoms around it.  Best of luck.

i have strange ear/jaw/throat symptoms. hard lump to the side of the tragus. typical swimmers ear symptoms except lump. it is hard and jaw hurts a bit. mostly getting better on own but lump is scary!!

I am unable to give : you a diagnosis without actually seeing the lump and performing certain tests.  Is it towards the jawline, fevers? Is the lump diminishing as your ear gets better? if yes then monitor if it continues for more than 2 weeks,  I recommend visiting your primary for a thorough evaluation.

Lymph node or cyst: This may be a lymph node due to skin, scalp or ear condition.  It could also be related to inflammation in the parotid gland or a developmental branchial cyst.  Best to see a physician to evaluate and may advise an imaging study.

Lymph nodes: There are lymph nodes in front of the ear that become inflamed with infection around the eye, cheek or ear. Identify and treat the underlying infection and the nodes  should shrink. For confirmation, see you doctor.

sharp pain in my tragus(left side)(feels like theres a lump) + pain just below in my jaw(left side). (had pain for 4 days so far).what could this be?

Possibly jaw joint: It may be your jaw joint is not working properly.  Put your fingers over the lump and try to open and close.  It the lump moves when you mouth moves it is probably your tmj.  It sounds like you may have a jaw joint problem developing.  See your dentist or a dentist that treat TMJ problems conservatively (splint and phyical therapy).

swollen right tragus, hurts to touch. hurts mostly towards the top inside corner of tragus and inside of ear. i don't feel lump. what is it?

Infection?: Is it red?  Do you have a pierced ear?  If so, it sound like an infection.
