I'm 18 and have a lump i front of my tragus(ear) it disappears when i open my mouth. i compressed that area with warm water and it has gone down abit?

Possibly: It's possible that you have a "preauricular" (in front of the ear) lymph node. Though this is hard to determine without better understanding any associated symptoms or the actual appearance/feeling of the "lump". You should seek medical attention if this lump does not resolve in the upcoming weeks or gets larger or you develop other symptoms around it. Best of luck.
