Grinding teeth?: There are a number of possibilities here, however if you find yourself grinding your teeth while sleeping or if putting gentle pressure on the lump as you open and close your jaw you may have inflammation of your TMJ. Anti inflammatories like ibuprofen may help some. If check with your dentist. Other masses in the area (parotid gland) generally wouldn't contribute to headaches.
